November. A deal hunters dream thanks to the trifecta of Sephora’s VIB Rouge Sale, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday deals. So long to both November, and the money I earned in November. See you…well, I don’t know when I will see you as the Holiday deals keep flooding my inbox.
Below is a breakdown of the products that I have been reaching for on an almost daily basis in the month of November. Most of which, are totally new to me.
- Kathleen Lights x Morphe Eyeshadow Palette $14.99 (currently out of stock, will restock on TBD date)
- This palette (if you were able to get your hands on it) was a great deal. Morphe has some of the best eye shadows on the market, and this palette was no exception. The color selection is gorgeous and includes warm plums and browns as well as cooler tone grays. The greens were a curveball for me but are pretty to play with for the holiday season. This palette is portable and allows for many different day-to-day as well as bolder looks. A wonderful selection of shades by my favorite beauty vlogger, Kathleen Lights.
- Urban Decay Total Perversion Reloaded Set (includes full size mascara and liquid liner in shade “Perversion” (a true black) for $24 at Sephora
- This kit is a great deal for two amazing products. The mascara is a blackest black and has a formula that helps boost and define lashes. The eyeliner is incredibly easy to work with, has a thin felt tip that allows for drawing thin lines, perfect for everyday or a well-defined cat eye.
- Colour Pop Creme Gel Pencil Liner in “Mr Bing” (by Kathleen Lights) $5 Available at ColourPop
- I have blogged about this product before in my ColourPop brand review. It is truly one of the best liners ever. It’s a nice warm auburn brown that can be used with so many different looks that I do. It’s unbeatable, especially for the price.
- Bare Minerals Firming Eye Treatment (discontinued)
- I’ve seen a lot of negative reviews about this product, but I really like it so far. It is gentle on my skin and I am able to wear it under my makeup. I apply it when getting ready in the morning and use more after I take my makeup off at night. So far, I feel like the puffiness under my eyes has been decreasing. I deal with large bags under my eyes related to the rotating, back-and-forth nature of the night and day shifts I have to work as a nurse. This product has (so far) been making a difference. I’m a big fan. **I picked this up at a Bare Minerals outlet store, and am unable to currently find it online**
- Surratt Beauty Relevee Lash Curler $30 Available at Sephora
- This curlers is gentle on my lashes (it never pulls any out) and is easy to use. It’s high quality so I don’t foresee myself needing to buy a replacement. Also, I love getting an added boost by blasting this curler for 10 seconds with my Dry Bar Buttercup hair dryer. It heats up the pads and makes my lashes stay curled all day long.
- Morphe MB32 Detailed Angle Liner Brush $2.49 Available at Morphe
- This brush has super well defined angle that is perfect for applying cream liners and drawing well defined cat eyes.
- Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit (Powder) in Light to Medium $40 Available at Sephora
- This kit replaces my Too Faced Cocoa Contour kit as my all time favorite. You get more shades and are able to create a full face look from setting concealer, to defining cheekbones and creating natural looking shadows and light on the face. I love that all of the shades are matte, and a range of cools and warms are included. Super versatile. Also, when you run out of a contour shade, you can simply buy a refill pan and pop it back into your palette.
- Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer (Medium) $14.99 available at Ulta
- Everyone raves about this product for good reason. It’s a game changer. It smells amazing (though the smell is certainly not going to remind you of the holiday season…it is a pineapple/coconut scent that makes me wish I was in the tropics). This powder feels ironically hydrating on the skin and adds subtle warmth that doesn’t make you look like you are wearing a lot of bronzer. It is a great bronzer for skin that doesn’t the sun often, especially in the winter months. I love that it warms up my look without making me look brown or orange.
- Besame Brightening Setting Powder in Vanilla Rose from the Mini Powder Set $25
- I gravitated towards this powder from the mini trio first because I love roses. The powder has an ever-so-mild scent of vanilla and rose, true to the name. It sets foundation/concealer/tinted moisturizer like a dream and the mini sizes are actually quite generous. I love the vintage packaging that Besame does and this powder is absolutely adorable. It also doesn’t reflect when photos with flash are taken (so you don’t get that bright white effect under your eyes, thank goodness!).
- Morphe E2 (discontinued) DUPE: Morphe E2 Round Powder Brush $19.99 Available at Morphe
- Soft bristled brush that has the perfect density for buffing out various kinds of powders, as well as applying all over bronzers.
- Sigma Tapered Highlighter F35 $25 Available at Sigma Beauty
- I prefer to use this brush for setting concealer, and dusting on matte highlighters to my cheekbones. It is the perfect shape and size for setting my undereye and helps me get the most out of the shades in my ABH contour palette.
- Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream in Vanilla $29.50 Available at Sephora
- I found this product after receiving a makeover at Sephora during the VIB Rouge event. I love that it has the kind of facial coverage I look for (sheer, ‘your skin but better’, buildable coverage). It doesn’t crease or look cakey and contains SPF which is always a nice added bonus.
- Morphe 9N The Naturally Blushed Palette $19.99 Available at Morphe
- Love the colors and pigmentation. You only need to add the slightest amount of powder to your brush to get major color pay off. The colors are more pinky-peach which is one of my favorite blush families and also includes darker bronzer shades that are nice to play around with and add a natural ‘I’ve been in the sun’ vibe to your look.
- Benefit The POREfessional Face Primer $31 Available at Sephora
- I firmly believe that applying facial makeup without a good primer is a huge no-no. For me, I have visible pores in my T-zone and this primer helps reduce their appearance. A little goes a long way and it is such a smooth product. It also helps my makeup last through by 12.5+ hour shifts!
- Morphe 358 (discontinued) DUPE: Morphe E58 Angled Buffer/Contour Brush $14.99 Available at Morphe
- I love the angled soft bristles of this brush for patting on blushes. It is soft and allows me to deposit blush exactly where I want it. Despite it not being labeled as a blush brush, it is my go-to for my blushes.
- Kylie Cosmetics KoKo Kollection Matte Liquid Lipstick in “Khlo$” $40 (kit sold out, no restock date announced)
- Fell in love with this color from the moment I swatched it. Then I ended up wearing it non-stop over Thanksgiving weekend. Love that it is a deeper, cooler toned nude that looks good with any makeup look.
- Buxom Full Bodied Lip Gloss in “Yes You” (a shimmering sand color) $19 **Cannot currently find online**
- Amazing, hydrating every-day gloss shade that is a sheer sandy nude. This lasts on my lips for hours and leaves them moisturized and smooth.
November has obviously been a big month for trying new products. It was difficult to narrow down all my favorites, especially because I have purchased things and not used them yet or only used them a handful of times. These products have truly impressed me and I think they are of great quality.
Let me know what you think in the comments. And please share some of the cosmetics you have been trying out this November!
Love and Happiest of Holidays to you!
